Dear Penn State Alumni and Black Caucus Friends,
This past year has been extremely busy, yet eventful, for Black Caucus, hosting our first Ashe Awards, an award show where superlatives are given to students and chosen by the students.
Following that, we hosted a week commemorating Black history called “Black History Week” where we featured a program called “Beyond Black History” showcasing unsung heroes in Black history. At the end of the week, we had our first “Jazz Fest” featuring a local band, great food, and great company. We had amazing feedback from the community and student body. All these great programs were put on for the student body and community for free by Black Caucus.
With all the wonderful programs we host, we ask Penn State alumni and Black Caucus friends to please support us by means of small monetary donations. We have a paypal account set up for Black Caucus and we also accept checks made out to Black Caucus and sent to this address:
